They met while studying music education at Florida State, sitting in the saxophone section together. What started as a friendship slowly turned into something more as Josh wrapped up school, eventually growing into a life they now share — and one that’s bringing them from Port St. Lucie to Tampa.
Josh proposed during a trip to Europe in June 2023, popping the question in Vernazza, Italy — a moment as romantic and unforgettable as it sounds. That same sense of intentionality carried through their wedding day.
Both educators — Emily teaching K–5 music and Josh leading a high school band — their connection to music and rhythm showed in the way their day flowed so naturally.
