Some love stories take their time—and Julie and Mike’s has been 13 years in the making. The two first met while bartending at the Buffalo Wild Wings by UCF, where they only worked one shift together before life sent them their separate ways. Eight months later, they happened to run into each other at a bar, and the rest, as they say, is history. Thirteen years, countless concerts and comedy shows, workouts, family gatherings, and plenty of adventures later, Mike finally popped the question in December 2024 during a snowy trip to upstate New York. After carrying the ring around for the entire trip, he waited for the perfect moment: coffee by a canal in a quiet Rochester town, just as the sun broke through the winter clouds. Now they’re bringing all the things that make them them into their wedding day.
